1. About JATUAL PARIS and These Conditions of Sale
These Conditions of Sale govern all purchases of products (the "Products") made through our website jatual.com, our Abu Dhabi boutique, by telephone or messaging via our Client Relations Center, or any other sales channel we make available — including where products are purchased in our showroom and shipped at a later date (collectively, the "Sales Channels").
The entity selling Products to you is:

These Conditions apply to online and remote purchases. Products purchased in our boutique for immediate collection are subject to our in-boutique terms communicated at the point of sale.
The sale contract between you and JATUAL PARIS is concluded in the United Arab Emirates.
Please read these Conditions carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Purchasing Eligibility
Only individuals (not legal entities) who have reached the age of legal majority in their country of residence (18 years in most countries), have the legal capacity to enter into contracts, and use a shipping address in a country we ship to, may place orders. By placing an order, you confirm that you are purchasing for personal use and will not resell or distribute our Products commercially.
3. Product Availability and Order Process
All orders are subject to product availability and acceptance by us. Placing an item in your shopping bag or expressing interest in our boutique does not constitute a confirmed order. Your order is confirmed only when you receive a written Confirmation of Order and Shipment from us.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate orders at any time on reasonable grounds, including suspected fraud, violation of these Conditions, or product unavailability. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund promptly.
In the event of a pricing error on our website or quoted by our team, we reserve the right to correct the price and notify you before processing your order. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
We may impose a reasonable limit on order quantities per client to protect the integrity of our Sales Channels and prevent commercial resale.
4. Prices, Taxes, and Payment
4.1 Prices and VAT
All prices displayed are in the applicable currency for your region. For purchases within the UAE, prices are inclusive of 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) as required by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax, as amended. Any applicable shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you confirm your order.
For international orders, the price displayed does not include import duties, customs fees, or local taxes applicable in your country of destination. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
4.2 Tourist VAT Refund
Tourists visiting our Abu Dhabi boutique may be eligible to reclaim the 5% UAE VAT upon departure from the UAE, subject to Federal Tax Authority (FTA) eligibility criteria and the Planet Tax Free scheme. Please request a Tax Free tag at the time of boutique purchase.
4.3 Payment
We accept the payment methods identified during the order process, including major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and bank transfer. Full payment is required before an order is processed and dispatched.
For purchases made in our Abu Dhabi boutique, payment may also be made in cash in UAE Dirhams (AED). In accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 10 of 2025 on Anti-Money Laundering, as a dealer in precious stones and jewelry we are required by law to report any single cash transaction or related transactions equal to or exceeding AED 55,000 to the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit. We may request valid identification for any transaction to comply with our legal obligations. We appreciate your understanding — these measures protect both our clients and our business.
You authorize us to perform security and identity verification checks in connection with your payment. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery, provided full payment has been received.
5. Shipping Policy
5.1 Delivery Destinations
We ship within the UAE and internationally, subject to country-specific restrictions. We do not ship to PO Boxes, hotels, or military bases. A full list of countries we ship to is available on our website or from our Client Relations Center.
5.2 Boutique Shipping Requests
If you purchase a Product in our Abu Dhabi boutique and request delivery to an address within the UAE or internationally, the same shipping conditions and responsibilities set out in this Section 5 apply. Our boutique team will confirm delivery details, timeframes, and applicable fees at the time of purchase.
5.3 Delivery Timeframes and Carriers
Estimated delivery timeframes are provided as a guide only. We work with FedEx, DHL, and Aramex. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, carrier disruptions, or events outside our control.
5.4 Transit Insurance
Each purchase is fully insured during transit from dispatch until delivery to your specified address. Once delivery is confirmed, responsibility passes to you.
5.5 Signature and ID Verification on Delivery
We require a signature by an adult at the delivery address to confirm receipt. We reserve the right to deliver only to the person named on the order and to request valid photo ID at delivery or boutique collection. If you specified a gift recipient, their signature constitutes proof of delivery and fulfillment of the sale.
5.6 Import Duties and Customs
For international shipments, the buyer is solely responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs fees in the destination country. If a shipment is refused or undeliverable due to customs non-compliance, return shipping costs will be deducted from any applicable refund.
6. Returns and Exchanges
We wish for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, you may return or exchange your Product subject to the conditions below.
6.1 Return Period
Products may be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days from the date of delivery or boutique purchase.
6.2 EU Customers — Statutory Right of Withdrawal
If you are located in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. Notify us at customer@jatual.com within this period. This right does not apply to customized or bespoke items. Following a valid withdrawal, we will refund the full purchase price including standard delivery costs within 14 days of receiving the returned Product.
6.3 How to Initiate a Return
Contact us at customer@jatual.com. We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization and instructions. For UAE returns, we provide complimentary pre-paid return shipping. International return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item is faulty. Products may also be returned in person to our Abu Dhabi boutique, subject to the same quality control inspection.
6.4 Condition of Returned Products
Products must be returned in new and unused condition, with all protective materials, original tags, JATUAL PARIS packaging, Certificate of Authenticity, and all accompanying documents intact. We will inspect returned Products upon receipt — this process may take up to 7 business days. We will notify you of the outcome promptly.
If a returned Product shows signs of wear, damage, alteration, or missing documentation, we reserve the right to refuse the return or apply a deduction to the refund amount.
6.5 No Partial Returns
Each order must be returned in full. Partial returns of individual items from a multi-item order are not permitted unless agreed in advance with our Client Relations Center.
6.6 Non-Returnable Items
Bespoke and Customized Items: Products that have been personalized, engraved, resized, or otherwise modified to your specifications cannot be returned or refunded unless they contain a manufacturing defect. This applies equally to fully bespoke commissions where design, materials, or stones were selected specifically for you.
For bespoke commissions, we will provide a written order confirmation detailing the agreed design, materials, and price before work commences. Your written approval of this confirmation constitutes acceptance of the non-returnable nature of the commission. This does not affect your rights in the event of a manufacturing defect, which remain covered under our warranty.
6.7 Refunds
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 14 days of our approval of the returned Product. Original shipping costs are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Gift recipients are not entitled to a cash refund. They may be eligible for exchange or merchandise credit at our discretion, upon presentation of the original gift receipt or proof of purchase.
7. Authenticity, Care, and After-Sales Services
7.1 Certificate of Authenticity
Each JATUAL PARIS piece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity confirming the materials, specifications, and provenance of the item. Please retain this document as it is required for warranty claims and future service requests.
7.2 Care Guide
A Care Guide is included with each Product and available at jatual.com. Damage resulting from failure to follow Care Guide instructions is not covered under our warranty.
7.3 Complimentary Adjustment Service
JATUAL PARIS offers a complimentary resizing and adjustment service within 12 months of purchase for eligible pieces. Contact our Client Relations Center or visit our Abu Dhabi boutique to arrange this.
7.4 JATUAL PARIS International Guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights, JATUAL PARIS provides a commercial warranty on all jewelry purchased through our Sales Channels.
Duration
Two (2) years from the date of delivery or boutique purchase.
Coverage
Manufacturing defects and hidden defects in materials or workmanship, confirmed by our technical experts.
Remedies
JATUAL PARIS will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product free of charge; or
- Replace it with an identical or comparable piece; or
- Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not feasible.
7.5 Warranty Exclusions
The JATUAL PARIS International Guarantee does not cover:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, tarnishing, or the natural aging of materials.
- Accidental Damage: Damage from drops, impacts, or negligence.
- Misuse: Damage from harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, or use inconsistent with our Care Guide.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Any repair or alteration by an unauthorized third party, which voids the warranty immediately.
- Loss or Theft: This warranty is not an insurance policy and does not cover loss, theft, or mysterious disappearance.
7.6 Statutory Legal Warranties
Independent of our commercial warranty, you retain full statutory rights under applicable consumer law. UAE customers are protected under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, as amended by Federal Decree-Law No. 5 of 2023. EU customers retain their legal guarantee of conformity and guarantee against hidden defects, which apply automatically and are not limited by our commercial warranty. GCC and other customers retain their applicable national consumer protection rights.
7.7 How to Make a Warranty Claim
Contact customer@jatual.com with your original proof of purchase, Warranty Card, Certificate of Authenticity, and a description of the issue. We will arrange inspection and advise on next steps.
8. UAE Consumer Protection
JATUAL PARIS complies with UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, as amended, including obligations relating to pricing transparency, product authenticity, and fair handling of client concerns. If you have a complaint we have not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) or the UAE Ministry of Economy.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, trademarks, images, and content associated with JATUAL PARIS are the exclusive intellectual property of Jatual Jewelry LLC or its licensors. Purchasing a Product does not grant any rights to use our brand, designs, or imagery for commercial purposes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total purchase price of the Products in your order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Nothing in these Conditions limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay caused by events genuinely beyond our reasonable control, including strikes, civil unrest, war, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or failure of transport or telecommunications infrastructure.
If such an event occurs, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and our obligations will be suspended for its duration. If the event persists for more than 30 days, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund for any Products not yet delivered.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
EU customers retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence and to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
UAE customers may refer unresolved disputes to the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED).
13. Changes to These Conditions
We reserve the right to update these Conditions at any time. The version applicable to your order is the version published on our website at the time your order is placed.
