This policy complies with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (UAE PDPL), the data protection laws of all GCC member states including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors and clients located in the European Economic Area, and the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) for clients located in California. Where these laws differ, we apply the highest standard of protection to all clients regardless of location.

To fulfill your order: Processing and delivering purchases, managing payments, and handling after-sales communication.
Personal Shopping: When you engage with our Personal Shopping service — whether in person, by appointment, or remotely — we collect and use the information you share to curate a bespoke selection of pieces for you. This data is treated with the same level of care and confidentiality as all other personal data we hold.
Clienteling: Our team may contact you personally — by WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, email, or phone — to share new pieces, exclusive events, or thoughtful suggestions based on your preferences and special occasions. This is a service we offer, not impose — you may opt out at any time by contacting customer@jatual.com or simply replying "stop" on any channel. Please note that WhatsApp conversations are also subject to Meta's own Privacy Policy.
Analytics & Profiling: We use aggregated anonymous data and automated tools to understand how our Site is used and to tailor our service to you. You have the right to object to automated decision-making — see Section 7.

As an international luxury brand based in Abu Dhabi, your data may at times be transferred across borders. We take this responsibility seriously.

Transfers involving clients in the EEA are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
All transfers involving UAE-based data comply with UAE PDPL requirements.
Transfers involving clients from other GCC countries are handled in accordance with each country's applicable national law.
Any transfers to or from the United States are governed by appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

We apply encryption, access controls, and pseudonymization to protect your data. All staff and third-party processors handling personal data are bound by strict confidentiality obligations. In the event of a breach posing a risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and affected individuals without undue delay.

9. UAE Consumer Protection & Reporting

JATUAL PARIS complies with UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, including obligations relating to pricing transparency, product authenticity, and the fair handling of client concerns. We take these obligations seriously as part of our commitment to an exceptional client experience.

If you believe you have been a victim of online fraud or cybercrime in connection with your interaction with our Site, you may report it directly to the Abu Dhabi Police eCrime portal.

For any complaints about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at customer@jatual.com. If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the UAE Data Office as the national data protection regulator.
